Speculation Is History, Here Is The Official: Elephant Money Wiki!

For those of you who are around for some time, hopping in and out of different Telegram channels and communities, you know a lot of speculation happens. People who don’t understand all mechanics of a protocol asking the same questions over and over again, people who just play ignorant while sharing false rumours and so on.

From my own experience I know it can be quite difficult to really understand everyting that happens under the hood of a particular protocol. Often the basics are pretty straight forward but if you really want to digg into all elements which play a role it becomes more and more complex.

This, however, is not a reason to stop researching but should be a motivation to digg even deeper. Especially for those who first invest and then learn. There are quite some of those, you know…

Whitepaper to Wiki

Most project teams start with developing and publishing a whitepaper before launching the platform and product. But at the same time most of those project teams aren’t able to keep the whitepaper up to date.

For the more static products the first version whitepaper might last long (think BTC) but for those more dynamicly evolving projects the first version can get outdated pretty quickly. Maybe this form isn’t the most suitable for the anticipated purpose.

Lately we see Wiki’s being developed and published by project teams more often. This form of documentation is much more flexible and therefore easier adjustable when updates are rolled out. For both smaller as well as bigger updates.

Elephant Money Documentation!

This exactly was done by Elephant Money. Recently the Official Elephant Money Documentation site was introduced. A Wiki style documentation section covering all relevant elements of the protocol and platform.

The sub-site is well-structured, extensive and containing dedicated sections for each core product offered as part of the protocol. In addition all the underlying mechanics and relevant secundary features are explained in an easy to understand and accessible way.

All effort was done by some highly knowledgeable community members in close cooperation with the projects founder. The end result is impressive and very valuable for potential investors, for new investors and even for existing investors.

In the past I covered a Bootcamp + Linktree which was set up by some of the community members as well. Another great community initiative.

Table of Contents

As mentioned the Wiki is very well-structured. To give you an idea of the contents, below I’ve listed the top level sections from the Table of Contents.

  • Overview
  • Ecosystem Tokens
  • Services
  • Price Stability Formula
  • Tokenomics
  • Elephant Money Treasury System
  • Liquidity
  • How To Guides
  • Navigating The Website
  • Security
  • Referral Program
  • Glossary
  • Official Links

As you can already derive from this list, not only a lot is covered, it is not just the basics but goes a lot deeper than a vision and explaining the different tokens.

Lens Easter Egg

A nice unique feature implemented by the devs is a GPT based search engine. Based on the contents of the Wiki you can use a Chat-GPT like function called Lens to answer any question you have.

Example: Explain the role of Bertha for Elephant Money in a Zoo like analogy

Isn’t that great?

Stop the FUD, Stop the Speculation, Get you Fact Straight!

Coming back to the article title and the introduction. There is no need to be half-informed, to guess or speculate. Just do your research, all information, all facts, all answers are out there and easy to reach!

Wrapping up

Where Whitepapers were the primary way to explain a project and its underlying mechanics the description often got outdated pretty quickly. Now it seems Wiki’s are introduced by an increasing number of project teams in order to tackle that issue.

Although a Wiki might bring more flexibility, it still requires active management and involvement from those who maintain these sites to make sure the content remains accurate at all time.

Let’s see how Elephant Money will do over time. For now I believe it is a very great step to bring easy understandible and accessible information in a well-structured way. Great job, well done!
